Responds to patient/family requests for spiritual and/or general counseling and support that may be associated with the emotional and spiritual distresses of illness, trauma, and death. This may include participation in family meetings. Maintain a position, collaborative working relationship with medical and nursing staff, and other departments. Provide support when an Incident Command Structure is established.
