Volunteer Opportunity at Newton Campus
Looking for a meaningful way to spend your time? Need to get volunteer hours?
Stop in at the tent and get your start time and instructions on parking. Start times are 8 to 9 and noon to 1pm.
Consider joining us at our Newton Campus to help out in the Resource Room! We need volunteers to assist with tasks like:
- Sort and organize donated goods and clothing
- Take inventory of supplies
- Rearrange shelves
- Remove trash
Chapel Storage Room Clean-up:
- move cabinets
- sweep/ clean storage room
- Remove trash/ organize space
Newton Campus to help out in our landscape! I have a couple of projects that I need a team to tackle!
- weed flower beds
- trim trees and bushes
- edging walkways
- Pull and relocate bushes
- create new garden beds
- remove chain-link fence
- Lay topsoil and mulch
We welcome individuals, families, and groups with tasks suited for ages 8 and older. Whether you can make it on this date, a Second Saturday or need to set-up a different time, we’d love to have you join us!
Location: EmberHope Youthville, 900 W. Broadway, Newton 67114
Parking will be on Boyd and Grandview Streets.
Check-in with Virginia to work in the following areas:
- Resource Room, Basement Level (Please note, there are stairs to enter and exit.)
- Chapel
- South side of Campus
No heavy lifting required (unless you're up for it!)
Regular volunteer hours available monthly
