St. Matthew's Payee Program

We are a not-for-profit representative payee program with oversight by Social Security. We are a fee-for-service agency and have several volunteers (more are needed) at this time. Help is needed with office work such as writing checks, filing, address changes, etc.

St. Matthew's Payee receives the Social Security benefits for disabled persons and pays their bills. This prevents them from being homeless, hungry or cold. We also in most cases complete the applications/renewals for KanCare, DCF Food assistance, Housing, etc. We also try to assist our clients with budgeting and work closely with Social Security to make sure the clients live and achieve to their highest capacity.
