Later At The Porch

SoShine foundation is a non-profit that began as a way to reach and serve the local community here in Newton Kansas. The vision for the after school program was to provide a place where students can come after school to be able to hang out with their friends and receive mentorship from caring adults in Newton. We wanted to provide the most fun, safe, and caring environment possible where these kids can feel seen, know that they belong, and know that they can help build the future of this city!

We serve the 5th and 6th graders from Santa Fe by providing mentor opportunities, leadership skills, and a safe and fun environment for students to thrive!
