DELIVERING SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST A MEAL... Newton Meals on Wheels has been guided by a single goal since the first known delivery by a small group of Newton citizens in 1973 – to support our senior neighbors to extend their independence and health as they age. What started as a compassionate idea has grown into helping seniors’ in our community for over 50 years.

Newton Meals on Wheels program participants receive a complete and nutritious, fully-prepared meal that meets one-third of their recommended daily dietary intake delivered right to their door, 7 days a week. Providing much more than a meal, the Home-Delivered Meal Program also ensures clients’ safety through a daily well-being check, and works to lessen their feelings of isolation and loneliness with a friendly visit with one of our drivers.
